Derval Costello

Vice President

Derval manages CCS Ireland and provides service to all sectors of the Irish and European non-profit community. As part of the firm's executive management team, Derval has worked on numerous projects in Ireland, Continental Europe and the United States. She has been especially involved with pre-planning and early fund-raising projects for a variety of client sectors implementing capital campaigns, feasibility studies, development assessments and preliminary fund-raising activities.

Derval has provided professional leadership in major donor identification and prospect research, methods of gift requests and strategy development, volunteer relations and campaign organisation. She has directed campaigns which have raised funds from corporations, foundations, trusts and individual philanthropists for capital projects, programme needs, endowment and start-up organisations. Conducting frequent internal training sessions as part of the firm's comprehensive programme, Derval is very involved with the professional development of CCS staff. 

A native of Galway, Ireland, Derval resides in Dublin with her husband and two sons.
