John O'Gorman

Regional Vice President

 

John O’Gorman has been involved in seven Arch/Diocesan capital campaigns as a Field Director, Associate Executive Director, and Executive Director.  John has also conducted successful annual appeals, feasibility studies, major gift solicitations, cultivation events, and leadership training sessions.

John is currently working on a campaign for The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod World Mission.  John supervises six CCS directors on this $100 million effort to reach the unchurched throughout the world.John directed the highly successful campaign for the Archdiocese of Washington, which raised more than $150 million on a $135 million goal.  He also planned, designed, and directed the campaign for the Diocese of Arlington, which raised more than $115 million on a goal of $75 million. 

John’s areas of expertise include fund-raising strategies, major gift campaign planning and staging, campaign analysis, community relations and volunteer staff management, orientation and training.  He has a proven ability to promote an organization’s interest and attract donors, plan, organize, direct and control the fund raising activities, manage volunteers and communicate with local business leaders.
