Michael Rodgers

Vice President

 

Michael Rodgers is a Vice President and Chair of the CCS Diversity Committee.  He brings more than nine years of experience working with non-profit organizations, assisting institutions with fund raising, campaign leadership development and management, and strategic planning. Michael’s areas of expertise are leadership and major gifts, feasibility and planning studies, and assessing and development operations.

Michael recently completed an assignment at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, where he served as the on-site counsel charged with building the foundation of a development operation to support the university. Last fall he concluded a year project managing the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation’s fund-raising efforts in the United States, to meet the US’s portion of the organization’s global operating budget for 2008 through 2010 through corporate contributions. 

Michael earned his B.A. Degree from Elon University and his D.E.A. Degree from the l’Université de Liége (D.E.A. is a European graduate degree).  He also served one year as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar.
