Robert Rice

Senior Vice President and Managing Director

 

Robert Rice joined CCS in 1987 and, as Senior Vice President and Managing Director responsible for the Mid-Atlantic Region, has provided professional counsel to professional association, healthcare, education, civic, cultural and religious institutions in the United States and Europe.
 
Robert, a Principal of CCS and chair of the firm’s finance committee, has firsthand experience in directing, managing and supervising capital campaigns that have raised billions of dollars.  This experience includes endowment fund raising; feasibility studies; annual giving programs, and internal audits.  He also has extensive international skills in public relations; foundation, trust and corporate giving; leadership solicitation; volunteer recruitment and retention, training and management; corporate sales and campaign executive consultation.

Robert graduated from Denison University. He serves on three volunteer boards: the Baltimore affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International and chairs their development committee; Peace Players International; and Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County. Robert is a past Board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Maryland Chapter and ePhilanthropy Foundation. Robert is a frequent lecturer at international, national and regional conferences for organizations including AHP, AFP, APRA and CASE. Robert, his wife, Maryann, and their three sons live in Lutherville, Maryland.
