Alta Bates Summit Medical Center is ranked among the top five percent of hospitals in the United States for clinical performance. One of the leading three California medical centers with better than expected outcomes in cardiac bypass surgery, it is also known as “The Best Place to Have a Baby in the East Bay,” every year welcoming more than 7,500 lives into the world. With three campuses in Oakland and Berkeley, Alta Bates Summit is the East Bay’s largest private, not-for-profit medical center serving the health care needs of communities that are among the most diverse in the world. With $26.8 million raised toward its $25 million goal, the Centennial Campaign for Excellence provided funding for three newly created Centers of Excellence—Cardiovascular, Oncology, and Women & Infants—as well as support for various community programs and other needs. CCS is proud to have been a part of Alta Bates Summit’s Centennial Campaign.
Fox Chase Cancer Center, one of the nation’s most renowned NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers, opened the new 120,000 square foot Prevention Pavilion on January 1, 2000. This unique building is dedicated to helping families prevent cancer before it ever strikes, and includes specialized facilities for both research and patient care. CCS is proud to have assisted Fox Chase Cancer Center in raising $39 million for this special project, including funds for endowment and research programs as well as the Prevention Pavilion. CCS is also privileged to have worked with Fox Chase to raise $12.5 million for a new outpatient clinic. CCS is currently working with Fox Chase to fund the first $100 million phase of its 20-year expansion plan, building on its rich tradition of achievement and commitment to the highest standards of scientific investigation and quality medical care.
Jersey Shore University Medical Center (JSUMC), a member of the Meridian Health family, is a 502-bed, nonprofit university medical center. Founded in 1904, JSUMC is consistently ranked as the “most preferred” hospital by area residents, with one of the top-rated cardiac surgery programs in the state, the region's only Level II Trauma Center and the first and most comprehensive state-designated Children's Hospital in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Transforming Care: The New Jersey Shore seeks to enhance JSUMC's ability to provide its growing community with a healing environment combining the most advanced medicine with exceptional care, while ensuring the medical center has the capacity to continue providing the highest level of services and programs. CCS is proud of our partnership with JSUMC and together, Transforming Care has nearly doubled its initial goal of $8,000,000, raising more than $15,000,000, including the largest gift in the 101-year history of the medical center.
In 2007, Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network (LVHHN) was ranked by U.S. News and World Report among the best hospitals in the United States for the 12th consecutive year, and in six specialties. Also, Fortune Magazine recently named LVHHN in its 2007 “100 Best Companies to Work For in the United States.” As part of its commitment to offer the best healthcare, LVHHN partnered with CCS to design and implement the Investing in Excellence Here at Home capital campaign. The campaign's $45,000,000 goal was surpassed nearly three years ahead of schedule and more than $53,000,000 has been raised to date. CCS is proud to have assisted LVHHN in this historic achievement.
Building a New Century of Caring is the first campaign to be directed by CCS for St. Vincent's Hospital. This capital initiative seeks to raise $23 million toward the projected $120 million cost of capital projects. This effort will provide for the construction of North and South Towers that will expand the number of birth suites; house a state of the art imaging center; increase accessible Outpatient Surgery Center; include a new Emergency Department that is triple the size of the current facility; and significantly increase the St. Vincent's Foundation endowment to address emerging quality care needs.
Tampa General Hospital (TGH), founded in 1927, is a healthcare facility rich in tradition and recognized on the state and national level as a leader in a variety of medical fields. TGH is an 877-bed facility that houses one of the nation's busiest Organ Transplant Centers, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a Regional Burn Center, and a Spinal Cord and Head Injury Center. In addition, as West Central Florida's sole Level One Trauma Center, medical teams stand by around the clock to treat the most severely ill or injured patients. Last year, TGH's Emergency Room treated more than 64,000 people in a facility that was originally built to serve 40,000 annually. CCS is proud to assist TGH with its Building on Excellence capital campaign, which recently surpassed its $10 million financial goal.
White Plains Hospital Center (WPHC) is a voluntary, not-for-profit health care organization with the primary mission of offering high quality, acute health care, and preventative medical care in a compassionate manner to all people who live in, work in, or visit Westchester County, New York and its surrounding areas. As part of its commitment to offering the best in available health care, WPHC launched a $35 million capital campaign that recently surpassed its goal. CCS is proud to have assisted Jon B. Schandler, the Board of Directors, and the staff of WPHC with its last three campaigns, which combined have raised more than $70 million. WPHC is an affiliate of the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System and a member of Stellaris Health Network, Inc. and Voluntary Hospitals of America, Inc.
