In Their Lifetime

Founded over 60 years ago, Christian Aid aims to help people in extreme poverty, by providing sustainable and long-lasting solutions, helping when disaster strikes and speaking out against unfair laws. In Their Lifetime seeks to raise £5 million to create innovative and scalable programmes that are unable to find funding elsewhere. Initial projects include a renewable energy centre in India, a dairy scheme for local farmers in Haiti and an innovative education project for the indigenous population of Bolivia.

Reporters sans frontières (RSF)

Reporters sans frontières (RSF) is the largest organisation dedicated to fighting for press freedom. RSF’s extensive network of 10 regional branches and more than 150 local correspondents and partner organisations around the world makes it a leading international authority on press freedom violations.

CCS worked with RSF’s headquarters in Paris and local branches across Europe and North America to develop a case for support and global campaign plan to raise €5 million from the private sector. The planning process involved more than fifty interviews in seven countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

L’Organisation pour la Prévention de la Cécité

L’Organisation pour la Prévention de la Cécité, Paris, France

L’Organisation pour la Prévention de la Cécité (OPC) has been committed to the fight against blindness for the past 30 years. Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Paris, OPC is an association that researches, promotes, and implements the most efficient means of preventing diseases that cause blindness in both mainland France and developing francophone countries. Through accredited courses at local, educational institutions as well as conferences and in-the-field sessions, OPC trains and educates ophthalmologists, nurses, and technicians.

CCS is pleased to have conducted a planning and feasibility study to assess OPC’s ability to conduct a major gifts fund-raising campaign to leverage its significant in-kind support and to supplement its successful direct mail programme.
