ucsf new imageThe University of California-San Francisco Medical Center is consistently ranked among the top ten medical centers in the nation, translating the latest research discoveries into innovative treatments for thousands of patients each year. The Medical Center has embarked upon an unprecedented opportunity to further define the future of health care by constructing three new hospitals on the UCSF Mission Bay campus. These state-of-the-art Children’s, Women’s, and Cancer hospitals will capitalize on the pioneering research underway in adjacent Mission Bay buildings, resulting in breakthroughs that promise to improve and extend countless lives. The hospitals incorporate architectural and design features that are truly tailored to the needs of patients and their families and will stand as a benchmark in sustainable design for healthcare facilities. CCS is honored to be assisting UCSF Medical Center with its $600 million campaign. The campaign marks the first time in the history of the University of California that a single capital project has attracted two gifts of $100 million or more: a $125 million gift is the largest gift to date to the Medical Center, as well as one of the largest gifts in the University's history and a $100 million gift was given for the naming of the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. The leadership of The Campaign for UCSF Medical Center continues to inspire and engage the philanthropic community of the Bay Area and beyond to be a part of its landmark vision.
