Often we hear how emerging non-profits and those positioned for transformational moments are anxious about partnering with a newly formed and small consultancy. Thus they are more confident when retaining a well established firm with comprehensive services to help execute such monumental mission fulfillment.

Written by The University of Scranton, Scranton, PA
The University of Scranton, a nationally recognized Catholic and Jesuit university, partnered with CCS to launch the most ambitious and comprehensive fundraising effort in its 123-year history. The Pride, Passion, Promise Campaign sought to transform the campus into a 21st century living and learning environment and secure the University’s future through scholarship and academic endowment and investment in annual resources.
The Pride, Passion, Promise Campaign has raised more than $128.5 million to date on its $100 million initial target and $125 million challenge goal. Significant achievements include:
- The Pride, Passion, Promise Campaign raised 3.5 times more than the previous campaign and 1.5 times more than all other University of Scranton campaigns combined
- $128.5 million raised on a $125 million goal
- Received 109 gifts over $100,000
- 25 capital projects completed, including the following four new buildings: Patrick and Margaret DeNaples Center, Christopher and Margaret Condron Hall, an Apartment and Fitness Complex, and a Unified Science Center
- 120 scholarships created
CCS is honored to have assisted with campaign planning and implementation of this historic initiative. We warmly congratulate former University President Fr. Pilarz, Campaign Co-Chairs Peggy and Kip Condron, and Executive Vice President Patrick Leahy on this outstanding success. Special thanks to the Campaign Executive Committee and all donors that made this possible.
