Sustaining Our Spirit, Securing Our Future

Stanley British Primary School, Denver, CO

Following a comprehensive feasibility and planning study, the Stanley British Primary School (SBPS) in Denver, Colorado launched the Sustaining Our Spirit, Securing Our Future  campaign to complete campus renovations and increase the school’s scholarship and faculty and staff endowments. CCS worked closely with SBPS leadership to develop campaign strategy and materials for its $3 million campaign. In May 2011, the Stanley British Primary School surpassed the campaign’s original goal, raising $3.4 million in under 18 months, and securing the single largest gift ever made to the school. CCS is proud to have partnered with the Stanley British Primary School on this exciting campaign.

Together We Will: The Campaign for Chapin

The Chapin School, New York, NY

For more than a century, The Chapin School has been committed to preparing young women to thrive and lead in an increasingly complex world through the pursuit of academic excellence, personal integrity and community responsibility. To continue its legacy as a leader among independent schools in New York City and nationwide, Chapin conducted a campaign to enhance its endowment and to raise funds for faculty support, academic programs, financial aid and its school building. CCS is proud to have worked with Chapin on the Together We Will campaign, which raised more than $78 million.

The Campaign For The Prep: Our Legacy - Our Future

St. Joseph's Preparatory School, Philadelphia, PA

The Campaign for the Prep, and resulting enhancements, enabled St. Joseph Prep to lower its average class size, simplify scheduling, expand curriculum and Fine Arts programs, and provide an all-around improved learning environment. By renovating a historic but long-unused five-story building and linking it to the existing school, the Prep discovered ways to fuse the old with the new, maintaining meaningful features of the original structure while creating a modern place for learning. These state-of-the-art improvements help the Prep live its mission every day as the school develops leaders of intellectual distinction, men of faith and integrity, men who are open to personal growth, and committed to social justice and community service. CCS was proud to partner with the leadership and community of St. Joseph’s Prep for this exciting and historic achievement. The Campaign for the Prep achieved its $30 million goal and the effort stands as the largest, most successful campaign in the school’s history.

Clongowes Wood College S.J

Clongowes Wood College S.J., Co. Kildare, Ireland

Since its founding in 1814, Clongowes Wood College S.J. has been one of the preeminent secondary schools in Ireland. A seven-day boarding school for boys, Clongowes draws its 450 pupils from all over Ireland and abroad. Embarking on its third century, exciting expansive plans are underway to improve, enhance and modernise the existing learning environment and facilities. Embodying the Jesuit dedication to social justice and inclusion, a new bursary programme forms a central part of the School’s vision.

CCS has a long relationship with Clongowes, now working with the School for the third time. Conducting a broad and inclusive campaign, CCS is counselling the School leadership (Headmaster, Foundation Trustees and Headmaster’s Cabinet); strategising on leading and major gifts; providing guidance on alumni engagement and the roll-out of its alumni division campaign; and advising on the current and past parent giving programmes.

CCS is proud to have worked with the American School of Paris to expand the scope and impact of their annual giving campaign. In a few short months of on-site CCS contact, the Board of Trustees and the administration at ASP were able to establish a totally new out-look to fund raising. CCS helped ASP with a long-term plan, suggested procedures and established schedules that will dramatically elevate the school’s fund-raising effort.
