Often we hear how emerging non-profits and those positioned for transformational moments are anxious about partnering with a newly formed and small consultancy.   Thus they are more confident when retaining a well established firm with comprehensive services to help execute such monumental mission fulfillment.

Feeding America

Feeding America, Chicago, IL

feedingamericaNow, more than ever, the collective work of Feeding America’s network is critical. Every day, more individuals are forced to choose between food and other basic needs. In response, Feeding America is embarking on the most ambitious period of growth in its history, charting a new course that will result in significant strides toward ending hunger in America. To help accelerate this growth, CCS is honored to be assisting Feeding America in developing and implementing Feeding America’s Campaign Resource Center (CRC). Coordinated through Feeding America’s national office in Chicago, the CRC has been established to support and expand the fundraising operations and capacity of Feeding America’s 202 network members. The CRC is a complete philanthropy and fund-raising resource, offering tools for members at all stages of development operations.

Girl Scouts Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho

Launching Leadership: The Campaign For Their Future

GSEWNI-Main

For nearly a century, Girl Scouts has been the foremost organization to champion girls. In October 2009, Girl Scouts Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho (GSEWNI) embarked on Launching Leadership: The Campaign for Their Future, a strategic fundraising initiative to advance a new program framework to include science, technology, engineering, and math (S.T.E.M.); career pathways; and girl advocacy; rebuild the 70-year-old lodge at Camp Four Echoes; and enhance financial sustainability. Launching Leadership has received extraordinary support from new and long time volunteers and donors. A gift of $1.7 million helped to replace the 70-year-old lodge at Camp Four Echoes. This transformational gift also enabled GSEWNI to leverage additional donations and increase funding available for programming in S.T.E.M., thereby exposing young women to future career opportunities. CCS is proud to have partnered with GSEWNI on the planning study and the advised Launching Leadership Campaign.

Project Rock services include an Executive Fundraising Academy, a fundraising resource hotline, and an online fundraising resource website. Project Rock Advantage (PRA) is an individual assessment and fundraising planning process designed specifically to develop and enhance participating Affiliates’ fundraising operations. Project Rock Advantage’s aim is to strengthen and diversify the Affiliates’ funding streams and to increase private funding from individuals, corporations, and foundations. The 2011 iteration of Project Rock was structured based on the success from a 2009/2010 Project Rock Pilot Program. There are currently eight Affiliates participating in PRA.

Securing Our Future Campaign

Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, Wainscott, NY

dogandwomanwebThe Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF), the leading no-kill shelter for cats and dogs on the East End of Long Island, has found homes for 15,000 animals. ARF decided to mark the milestone by launching the Securing Our Future Campaign. CCS is proud to have partnered with ARF in surpassing their campaign goal of $10 million, the largest campaign in the organization’s 34-year history. The funds raised have fostered the purchase of a thrift shop, allowed for market research studies to expand pet-related services, and provided a $6 million endowment to sustain ARF’s life-saving programs and maintain its state-of-the-art adoption center.
