The Boston Latin School Association is the fundraising arm for the oldest public school in the country and has the unique challenge of raising private support for a publicly funded school. After some consideration, the school decided it would need to run a campaign to raise programmatic, capital, and endowment funds.
CCS was retained to conduct a pre-campaign planning and design study to establish how best the school might proceed in its goals. In addition to conducting 80+ interviews, CCS completed a full review of the development function and an electronic wealth screening of the school’s database.
The campaign was a tremendous success, raising $54 million on its $50 million goal.
