The Foundation for Maine’s Community College was created in 2009 to support the seven community colleges throughout the state. The foundation was focused on strengthening student support services, increasing access to higher education, and updating instructional tools and resources at a time when state funding as a portion of the college’s budgets had declined.
CCS was retained to develop a campaign plan and implement activities to raise funds for endowment, programmatic, and capital needs.
The foundation raised $23 million to invest in the enduring future of Maine by providing an excellent and affordable education to students throughout the state.
