Philanthropy allows individuals, foundations, and corporations the opportunity to partner with organizations that are creating meaningful impact and driving change in our society and around the world.

Gary Hawkins has spent his professional career working with nonprofit organizations in fundraising and nonprofit management. Gary is passionate about philanthropy at large and feels particularly connected to the selfless, mission-driven people and organizations that comprise the industry.

During his 20 years at CCS, Gary has taken great pride in the relationships he has developed. He considers these strong connections to be at the center of every successful engagement. With his clients, Gary seeks to lead with purpose and following through on intent. He enjoys crafting strategic approaches aimed at building stronger relationships with new and established donors, community leaders, and volunteers.

As Managing Director, Gary oversees CCS’s operations across the Southern U.S. He has supported clients across all sectors with capital campaigns, annual fundraising endeavors, development assessments, organizational development, board recruitment and training, and even provided interim development management at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra prior to his role as Managing Director.
