Stephanie is passionate about supporting nonprofit leaders in transforming their visions into actionable plans and results to be celebrated.

She has advised clients in the education, healthcare, human services, humanitarian and faith-based sectors, and her work has included feasibility and planning studies, assessments, case development, capital campaign planning and execution, board training and major gift strategy. Stephanie also has experience partnering with clients on grant writing and grant management.

In addition to her work with clients, Stephanie serves as a Co-Chair of CCS’s internal Health Sector group and takes great pleasure in mentoring and supporting new colleagues during their first year at the firm.

Stephanie is a graduate of Wellesley College and lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband.

Tyler Mark is a dedicated nonprofit professional committed to helping clients maximize their impact on the communities they serve. Beginning his career as a special education teacher with Teach for America and later joining CCS, Tyler digs deep to understand the root causes of critical problems and collaborates to develop tailored solutions. He has worked with a variety of clients, conducting extensive assessments in some capacities, and managing development operations and campaigns in others.

For instance, at Texas Children’s Hospital (Houston), Tyler analyzed the feasibility of funding the historic expansion of their neurological research enterprise. He went on to manage the launch of a $100 million campaign, working onsite to raise a monumental $42 million in less than six months. In all, his counsel has helped our clients raise more than $300 million worldwide to advance important causes.

Other non-profit clients include KIPP Schools (New York), Cathedral of St. John the Divine (NYC), Good Reason Houston (Houston), and the UN’s International Telecommunication Bureau (Geneva).

Tyler holds a B.A. in International Relations from Colgate University. He volunteers as a crisis counselor for The Trevor Project in New York City and is an active Teach for America alum.

Steven Picciano has partnered with mission-driven organizations across the sectors of religion, higher education, healthcare, and social services to design and implement transformational fundraising initiatives.  He has directed successful fundraising campaigns with goals ranging from $5 million to $250 million.

Steven’s areas of expertise include feasibility and planning studies, campaign management, fundraising communications, and board recruitment.  He has a passion for developing compelling case narratives, engaging philanthropic volunteers, and soliciting major gifts.

Raised in New Jersey, Steven attended Delbarton School in Morristown, N.J., before studying government at Georgetown University and Seton Hall University.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and he is a member of the Advisory Board of the Neonatal Comfort Care Program at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital.  He resides in Nutley, N.J., with his wife, Juliette, and their sons, Leo and Dominic.

Tara has had the opportunity to provide strategic support to organizations across the nonprofit sector during her work with CCS. Most notably, she has elevated the impact of civil rights advocacy and social services work with the National Urban League, worked to increase access to higher education at Fordham and Seton Hall Universities, as well as the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and helped sustain the religious and charitable work of the Catholic Diocese of Bridgeport through a transformational capital campaign.

A mission-driven, resourceful, and goal-oriented professional, Tara brings strategic and analytic thinking, clear communication, and a collaborative spirit to all her projects. She has experience and is comfortable working with community members from diverse backgrounds in addition to senior organizational leaders. Her varied professional experience includes marketing and communications, research and writing, project management, public speaking, and relationship building. These skills are regularly deployed in campaign design and implementation, donor stewardship, fundraising training, and volunteer management.

Prior to CCS, Tara worked at the National September 11 Memorial and Museum, the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, New York, and the MACRO (Museo d’Arte Contemporanea di Roma).
