What began in 1947 as a small Brooklyn office—founded by two social workers helping local leaders rebuild after World War II—has grown into a global firm helping organizations across every sector of society fulfill their purpose.

From early efforts to fund schools, churches, and hospitals, to today’s collaborations with nonprofits worldwide, CCS has been a constant partner in advancing the causes that define our shared progress.
Our teams have supported campaigns that have left lasting marks on history, from Rotary International’s effort to immunize 500 million children against polio to the creation of the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture. Equally meaningful are the local projects that strengthen daily life: new parks, revitalized neighborhoods, and community health centers built through collective effort and trust.
