The Full Story

Allison approaches her role as Chief People Officer at CCS with a deep belief in the power of connection, belonging, and shared purpose. Since joining the firm in 2024, she has worked to strengthen the systems and practices that help employees grow, collaborate, and do their best work.

A former attorney, Allison discovered more than two decades ago that her true calling lay in shaping culture and building teams. Her leadership has since guided global HR roles across education, publishing, tech, and cultural institutions. She is known for viewing organizational decisions through the lens of people and for advancing diversity and inclusion as a strategic advantage.

She is a graduate of Yale University and Columbia Law School and serves on the Board of the Episcopal Church Foundation. Her commitment to mission-driven work extends beyond CCS and informs how she leads within the firm.

Allison lives in Harlem with her husband, Dr. James Marion, several extended family members, and Phineas, a 93-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback who keeps the household lively.

CCS is a people culture. CCSers share an incredibly high level of collegiality, learning-orientation, and commitment to their clients. It’s a pleasure and privilege to support such an extraordinary organization.
