The Full Story

Charlie’s career has taken him across the U.S, and around the world, partnering with organizations whose missions span countries, cultures, and sectors. Since joining CCS in 1993, he has supported clients across education, health, international development, and human services in his role as Partner.

Over more than three decades, his work has taken him throughout North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, including 15 years living and working in the U.K. and Ireland. Now as a Partner based in the New York City metro area, Charlie provides strategic counsel and coaching to senior executives, board members, philanthropists, and government officials. His expertise includes campaign design and management, corporate partnerships, mobilizing resources from governments, and training fundraising leadership across diverse cultures.

A graduate of Marquette University, Charlie is active in professional associations and industry committees that help shape the future of philanthropy. Charlie and his wife Maureen live in Montclair, New Jersey. They are the proud parents of three great kids who are working or studying in NYC, Michigan, and California. Outside of work, Charlie enjoys fly-fishing, cycling, traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family.

What keeps me inspired is the diversity of our clients. We deal with incredible people at a very high level all over the world. It’s a real privilege.
