The Full Story

Jon’s path to CCS grew out of a career spent helping organizations think about their future direction. As CEO and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, he brings that same mindset to the firm’s work and to the teams he supports.

At CCS, he works closely with colleagues across the firm to shape direction, support long-term growth, and stay focused on the needs of the organizations the firm serves. Since joining CCS in 2018, he has drawn on more than two decades of broad-reaching experience in strategy, finance, and management consulting, along with a deep belief in the impact of mission-driven organizations. “We are helping so many good organizations operate at a higher level. The change our clients are affecting is often profound, and to support those missions is immensely gratifying,” he says.

Before CCS, Jon co-founded Katz, Kane & Co., an advisory firm serving corporate clients.  Earlier in his career, he held roles at GCA Savvian, Patriot Group, Warburg Pincus, Goldman Sachs, and McKinsey & Company. In these positions, he advised private companies and Fortune 500 firms on business strategy, mergers and joint ventures, capital raising, and other financial opportunities across multiple industries.

Jon earned his BA from Brown University and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He and his wife, Melissa, live in Westport, Connecticut, where they are active in their community. He often shares that working alongside talented colleagues and seeing the impact of CCS’s clients are among the most meaningful parts of his work.

We are helping so many good organizations operate at a higher level. The change our clients are affecting is often profound, and to support those missions is immensely gratifying.
