The Full Story

Shawn’s career has taken him through roles that expanded his understanding of community, leadership, and the donor experience. Early in his career, Shawn worked as a Mental Health Worker at Butler Hospital and later served as Director of Confirmation Retreats and Youth Ministry at Immaculate Conception Church. He then moved into admissions and communications at Saint Raphael Academy, a role that strengthened his perspective on education, storytelling, and organizational leadership.

These experiences inform Shawn’s approach at CCS, where he is a Senior Vice President supporting organizations through capital campaigns, major gift initiatives, development assessments, planning studies, and operational strategy. He coaches volunteer and executive leadership, designs donor engagement plans, develops compelling cases for support, and helps organizations build systems that advance sustainable fundraising goals.

Shawn continues to stay connected to education and community life through his service on the Advisory Board of Saint Raphael Academy. He lives in West Orange, NJ with his wife, Tracy, and their daughters, Sloane and Quinn. Outside of work, he enjoys technology, music, theater, and design. A classically trained singer, he has performed in choirs, musicals, and plays throughout his life.

Seeing a project go from a concept to a fully funded initiative, thanks to effective donor engagement and collaboration, is incredibly gratifying.
