The Full Story
Travis’s path into philanthropy emerged shortly after graduating from the University of Michigan, where his interest in economics and service shaped his understanding of how strategic investment can strengthen communities. That foundation continues to guide his approach today. He brings careful analysis, steady leadership, and an emphasis on collaboration to every engagement, supporting organizations through campaign planning and management, development assessments, and network capacity-building efforts.
He has had the privilege of guiding organizations through some of the most significant campaigns in their histories, helping secure transformative gifts that expand mission impact. As a Partner at CCS, his work spans human services, environmental initiatives, and nationally federated nonprofit networks, with each partnership grounded in a commitment to helping organizations operate with clarity and confidence during pivotal moments.
A highlight of his career was celebrating the over-goal success of a $200 million campaign at Lions Clubs International’s 91st International Convention in Bangkok, Thailand, a moment that reflects the collaborative spirit he brings to every initiative.
Beyond his client work, Travis is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and has served on the boards of AFP Chicago and AFP Golden Gate, contributing to sector-wide learning and community building.
He lives in Oakland, California, with his wife, Rebecca, their two children, Ana and William, and their rescue pug, Henry. He enjoys hiking in the Bay Area and volunteering locally.
Clients come to CCS when it matters most. I’ve dedicated my career to answering that challenge.
