our partnership

The Diocese of Westminster includes over 200 parishes in and around London and has a wide range of ethnic and cultural diversity among its Catholic population.

CCS initially supported the Diocese to undertake a five-month feasibility study, gathering input from hundreds of priests and parishioners. As a result of this consultation, the Diocese embarked on a major fundraising campaign to ensure His Eminence Cardinal Vincent Nichols’ vision for a vibrant Catholic community.

Entitled Growing in Faith, the initiative supported parishes to work together to address their shared needs, with funds focused on sustaining parish life, supporting clergy and strengthening outreach to the poor. More than 190 parishes participated, with over 1,400 volunteers, raising more than £37 million from 19,000 gifts and pledges. CCS is proud to have partnered with the Diocese on such an historic endeavour.
