Alissa Auerbach Mizrachi

Alissa has dedicated her career to advancing the missions of nonprofit organizations and strengthening the communities they serve. Beginning in museum education before transitioning to philanthropy and strategy, her firsthand experience witnessing the transformative impact of nonprofit work continues to fuel her commitment to the sector. 

With more than 15 years of experience across diverse sectors, Alissa partners with mission-driven organizations to design and execute strategies that drive transformational growth. She advises clients on comprehensive fundraising campaigns, development infrastructure assessments, volunteer leadership engagement, and systems management. Alissa is known for delivering strategic insight in an approachable way, tailored to each organization’s specific needs and priorities.  

Alissa received her BA from Cornell University. After seven years in Vermont, Alissa returned to her home state of New York and currently resides in Manhattan with her husband and daughter. She enjoys taking longs walks in Riverside Park, experiencing all the cultural gems New York City has to offer, and attending the occasional tennis match and basketball game.
