The Full Story

Jess’s path to philanthropy began early, shaped in part by formative time spent in Nepal where she saw how community leadership, strong relationships, and the right resources can transform lives. Those experiences led her to pursue a master’s degree in international development, where she deepened her understanding of how organizations strengthen communities and what it takes for mission-driven work to thrive.

Her career has since spanned sectors and geographies. After beginning her work in New York, Jess spent four years in Dublin, Ireland, advising a wide range of organizations including hospitals, schools, museums, and religious organizations. That breadth of experience strengthened her ability to help nonprofits build strong fundraising programs, engage stakeholders, and navigate moments of change.

Now as a Senior Vice President back in her hometown of New York City, Jess partners with nonprofits across the country on major campaigns, planning studies, and capacity-building efforts. She works with leaders in education, human services, arts and culture, global health, and community development, helping them articulate compelling visions and build the strategy and systems needed to achieve them. Clients value her ability to listen deeply, ask the right questions, and translate complex challenges into clear, actionable plans.

Outside her work with CCS, Jessica enjoys life in the city with her husband, son, and their Bernadoodle, Murph. She continues to draw inspiration from the dedication and creativity of the organizations and communities she serves.

I am inspired by leaders who are committed to strengthening their communities. Supporting them with clear strategy and thoughtful partnership is the most rewarding part of my work.
