The Full Story

Polly brings a community-centered approach to her role as Executive Vice President at CCS. Since joining the firm in 2015, she has worked with organizations across Colorado and the region to clarify goals, strengthen systems, and guide significant [PB1] fundraising efforts.

Her career began in education, where she held instructional and development leadership roles with Teach For America in Los Angeles and Colorado. Those experiences shaped her belief in systems-level change and ignited her passion for equity-driven philanthropy.

Polly is active in the Colorado community. She serves on the Board of Trustees at Denver Academy and previously co-chaired the Development Committee at KIPP Colorado Schools. She is also an alumna of the Institute for Leaders in Development through the University of Denver.

She holds a B.A. in Spanish Literature from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed graduate studies in education at UCLA. Polly lives in Denver with her spouse and two young daughters and enjoys exploring Colorado’s natural beauty, supporting the arts, and championing causes that uplift families and communities.

As the world is changing rapidly, so are the needs in our communities. I have seen the catalytic power of philanthropy—to identify root causes of humanity’s biggest challenges, to change systems, to empower and connect communities and individuals, to lift voices, and to heal families. It is an enormous honor to work beside our clients as they work to reach their ambitious visions to meet the needs of their communities.
