creative studiesFor more than 100 years, College for Creative Studies has excelled as a leader in art and design education, and has earned national and international recognition for the caliber of its students, faculty, programs, alumni, and commitment to the Detroit community. CCS is proud to support the College with its boldest fund-raising initiative to date. The Advancing the Creative Spirit campaign will raise $55 million to support the College’s renovation of the historic General Motors Argonaut Building into the state-of-the-art A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education. The effort to date has raised $45.4 million and is currently on track to meet its goal.

ceu_logoCentral European University (CEU) was founded in 1991 with the explicit objective of aiding the transition from dictatorship to democracy in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, and Central Asia. CEU students now represent more than 100 countries, including regions in the developing world, North America, Western Europe, Turkey, and Southeast Asia.

CCS is privileged to have worked with CEU to establish its development office and procedures, develop the case for support and gift request materials, and recruit and train volunteer leaders.

According to The New York Times, March 25, 2009, “CUNY Meets Ambitious Fund-Raising Goals Three Years Early,” the CUNY story is a real success story…For an urban public university system, these numbers are really quite dramatic.”

CCS celebrates our partnership with CUNY, Chancellor Dr. Matthew Goldstein, and CUNY campuses, including Baruch College, Brooklyn College, City College, Queens College, and Hunter College, on the Invest in CUNY campaign. The Campaign is raising support for faculty, students, science, research, innovative new programs, and the revitalization of CUNY’s 23 campuses across the five boroughs and ensuring the continuation of the university’s renaissance. Through our European headquarters in London, CCS has served as professional fund-raising counsel to INSEAD since February 2007, working with the school’s leadership and Board on a range of strategic priorities, including campaign planning and readiness, campaign messaging, and prospect identification, rating, and management. CCS also designed and led a series of specialized workshops and interactive seminars for INSEAD’s fund-raising staff, as part of their commitment to continuing professional development.
