CCS is proud to support the College with its boldest fund-raising initiative to date. The Advancing the Creative Spirit campaign will raise $55 million to support the College’s renovation of the historic General Motors Argonaut Building into the state-of-the-art A. Establishing an Advancement Infrastructure for SuccessCentral European University (CEU), Budapest, Hungary Central European University (CEU) was founded in 1991 with the explicit objective of aiding the transition from dictatorship to democracy in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, and Central Asia. CEU students now represent more than 100 countries, including regions in the developing world, North America, Western Europe, Turkey, and Southeast Asia.CCS is privileged to have worked with CEU to establish its development office and procedures, develop the case for support and gift request materials, and recruit and train volunteer leaders. www.ceu.hu |
The City University of New York (CUNY)The City University of New York (CUNY) Surpassing expectations four years ahead of schedule, The City University of New York (CUNY) has launched the second phase of their capital campaign, Invest in CUNY, Invest in New York: Expanding the Vision, with a goal of raising the total to $3 billion by 2015. According to The New York Times, March 25, 2009, “CUNY Meets Ambitious Fund-Raising Goals Three Years Early,” the CUNY story is a real success story…For an urban public university system, these numbers are really quite dramatic.”CCS celebrates our partnership with CUNY, Chancellor Dr. Matthew Goldstein, and CUNY campuses, including Baruch College, Brooklyn College, City College, Queens College, and Hunter College, on the Invest in CUNY campaign.
