Mercy Health needed to enhance its services and expand its downtown Baltimore campus. CCS Fundraising provided planning, direction, and management for two campaigns, which raised more than $85 million combined. Mercy’s campus now includes the region’s premiere center for women’s health.
The Challenge
Constantly responding to the needs of the community and always serving the poor, Mercy Health needed to enhance its services and expand its downtown Baltimore campus.
The Solution
CCS provided planning, direction, and management and consultative services for the expansion campaign, which raised $43.4 million on a preliminary $20 million goal. CCS also worked with Mercy leaders on a $35 million campaign to fund the Mary Catherine Bunting hospital tower, a campaign that raised more than $42 million.
The Impact
Today, Mercy’s campus includes the region’s premiere center for women’s health. Mercy Medical Center has been named to Healthgrades America’s 250 Best Hospitals Award, a distinction that places the hospital in the top 5 percent of more than 4,500 hospitals assessed nationwide for superior clinical performance.
