Emmett Mehan been supporting nonprofit organizations for over 10 years. His experience includes capital campaign planning and management and launching and integrating development operations, as well as design thinking and strategic planning initiatives. He’s consulted with hundreds of nonprofit organizations independently and through roles at private firms, and even tech companies. With a B.S. in Development Sociology from Cornell University and an M.P.A. in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy from NYU Wagner, he builds on his academic background to bring innovative solutions to his clients and enable social change at scale.

As a strategy consultant, Emmett helps power the machine that allows nonprofit organizations to enact lasting social change. In his current role with PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center Foundation, he is serving in an interim Director of Development role, growing a new fundraising team at one of the biggest organizations in the Eugene, OR community, as they prepare for a historic campaign. He concurrently works with Sacramento State University to conduct a post-campaign assessment following the largest comprehensive campaign in the school’s history.

Within CCS, Emmett serves as the Co-Chair of the working group designing and launching the firm’s first Pro Bono Service Program.

In his previous roles, Emmett has led campaigns over $60M, managed teams of staff and volunteers alike, provided executive coaching to C-Suite leaders, and advised on campaign planning, prospect strategy, case for support development, and more.

Emmett resides in Portland, OR with his partner Matt and is an avid hiker, cyclist, craft beer enthusiast, and lover of comic books.
