Mary DeLay

Mary joined CCS in 2018, pursuing a rewarding career in philanthropy following experience overseas as a civilian Department of Defense employee and later as a project manager in the technology sector. In her role at CCS, Mary provides strategic and operational oversight to client engagements across the Central United States.

Mary’s areas of expertise include major and principal gift strategy, sustainable growth planning, and leadership engagement. Her goal with every client partnership is to elevate organizational capacity and effectiveness to bolster long-term philanthropic performance and deepen impact. She serves as a trusted partner to nonprofit organizations in diverse sectors, including healthcare, academic medicine, higher education, primary and secondary education, and advocacy. Mary has led comprehensive campaigns, feasibility and planning studies, assessments, and custom development initiatives focused on organizational capacity building and learning.

Based in Houston, Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a Minor in Sociology from Texas A&M University. She is an avid international traveler and is deeply interested learning from the lived experiences of others.
