Philanthropy is innovative, creative, and ever evolving in its own mission to create social change. I feel pride working in a field where organizations are focused on impacting their own communities, through philanthropy.

During her nine years with CCS, Shelby has partnered with thirteen clients, spanning across nine states, raising more than $600 million in cumulative campaign funds. Her broad philanthropic experience allows her to take the best ideas and adapt them for the unique communities in which she works. She is a thoughtful, observant interviewer, keen listener, effective communicator, and adaptable leader. Shelby has conducted countless interviews, developed cases that capture needs ranging from $5 million to $125 million, constructed dozens of campaign plans, trained hundreds of volunteers, and has championed successful campaigns.

Internally at CCS, Shelby serves on the Learning Committee, helping to provide educational opportunities to fellow Chicago and St. Louis office colleagues. As a CCS mentor, she has helped to onboard more than 30 new directors, providing them with the initial tools needed for successful client relations. She continues to serve as a sector leader and liaison to other CCS teams, providing thought leadership across the firm.

Shelby earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University and her Master of Business Administration degree from Syracuse University.
