How We Helped

The Challenge

NYSCI wanted to expand the museum’s capacity for education programs and exhibitions and invest in teacher development and further research. The campaign for the New York Hall of Science was a capacity-building effort that aimed at expanding and creating new education programs, exhibition development, science learning, and research and development programs that integrated design-making and play.

The Solution

CCS partnered with NYSCI to conduct a $50 million campaign. Working closely with the board of trustees, corporate and foundation partners, and individual funders, the fundraising initiative raised more than $54 million.

The Impact

The fundraising program helped NYSCI continue its mission of exposing youth to a world of open-ended exploration and imaginative learning, creating groundbreaking immersive exhibitions, empowering teachers and students in STEM, and reinvigorating signature museum programs for new generations of science learners.
