Ashutosh R. Nandeshwar

Ashutosh’s career has evolved at the intersection of technology, design, and social good. Trained in systems engineering and machine learning, he discovered his passion for philanthropy while developing data solutions to improve fundraising outcomes at major higher education institutions.

As Executive Vice President leading Data Science & Analytics at CCS, Ashutosh combines technical expertise with a human-centered approach to problem-solving. He helps organizations build data and system infrastructures, apply predictive analytics, and integrate insights into strategy and day-to-day decision-making. His work focuses on making complex analytical tools practical, ethical, and accessible to nonprofit leaders.

Ashutosh is also a respected contributor to the broader data science community. He served on the board of Apra, where he led the creation of a data science curriculum tailored to fundraising professionals, and he continues to support the field through speaking engagements and professional collaborations.

He holds a Ph.D. and MS in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in machine learning, as well as an MS in design thinking. Based in Los Angeles, Ashutosh enjoys exploring learning about the latest and greatest in technology and mentoring emerging data practitioners.
