The Full Story
Guided by a belief in the power of generosity to transform communities, Katlyn partners with organizations across all major nonprofit sectors to expand their reach and deepen their impact. As an Executive Vice President at CCS, she partners with leaders across the Pacific Northwest on major campaigns and development planning efforts, drawing on expertise in campaign planning, assessments, and major and principal gift strategy.
Her connection to this work began early. As a child, she volunteered at a local homeless shelter, which shaped her understanding of service and interest in mission-based work. After starting her career as a high school English teacher and serving as a Teach for America corps member, Katlyn transitioned into fundraising to help organizations transform lives through generosity and vision.
Katlyn is a founding board member of Mobile Pathways and serves on the board of AFP Advancement Northwest, where she champions equity and innovation in the field. She holds a BA in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University and an M.Ed. from Arizona State University.
She lives in Seattle with her rescue Maltipoo, Murphy, and finds joy in hiking the Pacific Northwest trails and exploring local arts and culture.
Every day, I see the tangible and lasting change that comes when a visionary leader and a generous donor partner together to make our world just a little better. It’s a privilege to do this work.
