At CCS, Matt has designed and led projects with fundraising goals in excess of $1B across every major philanthropic sector. His practice spans feasibility studies, campaign management, organizational assessments, and centers on aligning people, processes, and purpose through actionable plans grounded in data and strategy. Matt is known for bringing strategic clarity, steady leadership, and a genuine sense of partnership to every client engagement.  

A dual citizen of Canada and the United States, Matt infuses a global perspective and strong commitment to inclusive practices into his work. At CCS, Matt has led successful campaigns with leading organizations making a global impact. Matt serves on the Board of Directors of International Focus—a nonprofit that partners with the US Department of State to host international delegations visiting North Carolina’s Triangle region.  

Matt received his MA in Cultural Heritage Studies from University College London and his BA in Classics and History from Centre College, where he serves as a member of the Alumni Board. Matt lives in Durham, NC with his fiancée, Sarah, and their cat, Ollie. He enjoys any opportunity to learn something new and exploring North Carolina’s natural spaces.
