The Full Story

Barri works closely with organizational leaders to understand what drives their mission and shapes strategies that advance that mission with clarity and intention. During her tenure at CCS, she has guided teams through planning studies, campaigns, and capacity-building efforts that strengthen both revenue and organizational resilience. As a Partner, she is particularly committed to helping organizations build development models that support long-term impact.

Her path to the nonprofit sector began in the legal field. Before joining CCS, Barri spent four years practicing law, focusing on family and immigration cases alongside corporate litigation and restructuring, an experience that sharpened her analytical lens and deepened her dedication to equity. Known for her balance of empathy and analytical rigor, Barri brings a steady, strategic approach to every partnership.

Barri holds a BA from the University of Michigan and a JD from Brooklyn Law School. She lives in Denver, Colorado, with her husband, daughter, and their dog, Jasper. Outside of work, she finds inspiration hiking in the Rockies, discovering new museums, and engaging with the communities that shape her outlook.

Collaborating with volunteer and staff leaders that care deeply about the mission of the organization inspires us to co-create solutions that increase and diversify revenue, which in turn, allows the organization to do more of what it does best.
