Anisha Sinha brings a deep knowledge and understanding of community-driven work, with over a decade of nonprofit leadership experience. She has played a critical role in virtually all aspects of organizational management, ranging from strategic and fiscal planning to marketing. Through her work, she has transformed organizations and developed diverse partnerships, volunteer opportunities, and stakeholder engagements benefiting the community at large. Her approach in developing effective and quality fundraising initiatives is driven by considering innovative alternatives to existing approaches to elevate an organization’s mission. Anisha began her career while serving as an AmeriCorps member at LIFT-Philadelphia, a national anti-poverty organization. This experience had a profound impact on her interest in public sector work and continues to influence her fundraising strategies.
At CCS, Anisha continues to strengthen her expertise in networked and federated nonprofit models, as well as volunteer engagement and management strategies. She also serves on the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Innovation Working Group and serves as an officer for the People of Color/Multicultural Network Employee Resource Group.
Anisha earned her MPA from the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a dual BA from the University of Michigan in Psychology and English Language & Literature. Originally from the Hudson Valley, NY, Anisha is proud to call Philadelphia home. Outside of work, she is an avid reader, enjoys cooking, and can be found spending time with her husband (Wayne), dog (Ramona), and two cats (Frederick and Patricia).
